Thank You, Lord,

That You're my King,

My Shield and Victory;

You will fight on my behalf 

And You'll deliver me

From every evil foe,

From every evil scheme;

And You will keep me in Your heart

For all eternity.

Thank You, Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, that Thy word promises that You will fight for us against every evil scheme of the enemy to do us harm or to hinder us from doing Thy will or fulfilling our divine purpose. We need only to be quiet and trust in You to defeat our enemies as we wait in faith in the shadow of Thy holy wings, resting in Thy love. We love You, Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.

To You I am Your gift;

A treasure You delight in,

Redeemed from guilt and sin;

Bought with the precious blood

You clothe me with His righteousness,

Christ Is Praying For Us

^"Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us." ~Romans 8:34 (NKJV)

Christ Is Praying For Us

The Bible assures us that even if no one else is praying for us on our journey, we must never feel all alone or abandoned. For there is One who is always praying for us, night and day. He knows our every need and His prayers are always answered. He will never give up on us. 

No one else may know my name, but Jesus Christ, our Heavenly High Priest, knows me. He loves each of us so much, that He has engraved a picture of us on the Palm of His hand. (Isaiah 49:16) He cannot, nor will He ever forget about us.
We may imagine that He has forgotten us sometimes but God's word assures us that the One who is praying for us night and day is always thinking about us. "I am poor and weak, yet the Lord is thinking about me right now!" ~(Psalm 40:17 ERV)

 The Psalmist wrote, "How precious it is, Lord, to realize that You are thinking about me constantly! I can’t even count how many times a day Your thoughts turn toward me. And when I waken in the morning, You are still thinking of me!" (Psalm 139:17-18 TLB)

 
The One who is praying for each of us day and night is constantly thinking about us, praying for all of our needs. He is at the right hand of His Heavenly Father, the Bible says, pleading for us.
(Romans 8:34). And nothing will ever be able to separate us from His immeasurable love toward us.

 "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."~ (Romans 8:38-39 NLT)

Heavenly Father, thank You that You sent Your only Son to die for our sins to redeem us for Yourself and that He now stands beside You in the Eternal Day pleading on our behalf. Thank You that You are for us and that Thy word says if You are for us, that NOTHING can be against us. Thank You that You cannot and will not ever fail or forsake us and that we are always in Your thoughts. Your love for us is measureless. Help us to remember and consider these things in our challenging times. Help us to remember that Thy Son is ALWAYS praying for us according to Thy will for us. We love You, Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, Help Me Be Like That Tree

Deuteronomy 31:8 (NLT)

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you.

Lord, help me be the flexible tree~ 

That bends its boughs in adversity,

Through winds of trial and suffering,

That hides itself away in Thee

And trusts when assailed by enemies; 

Whose limbs bow humbly in chastening, 

Who will not break but find the Stream 

Of God to drink, it's roots will cling,

It's roots dig deep into that Stream... 

It's leaves are ever full and green,

It bears its fruit to Christ it's King...

In every season it will sing...

Oh Lord, help me to be that tree.

Oh Lord, help me to be that tree~

That tree that bows and bends to Thee; 

For the tree that bows and bends the knee

Heavenly Father, may we ever cling to Your promises in Your word that You are always with us in every season of our lives. No matter what challenge we may ever face on our path, You will be right there to see us through as we put our faith, hope, and trust in You. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen.
